Bitbank Adds Three New Metaverse Coin Listings
The well-known Japanese cryptocurrency exchange Bitbank has unveiled the addition of three significant metaverse tokens to its offerings, a development that should pique the interest of investors.
As reported by Metaverseplanet.net, Bitbank has listed Apecoin (APE), Gala (GALA), and Chiliz (CHZ), marking a notable expansion in its cryptocurrency portfolio.
It’s especially significant that APE and GALA have not been listed by any other Japanese exchange prior to this. With these new additions, the platform’s total listings rise to 27 different cryptocurrencies.
Although this figure may appear modest when compared to other exchanges, it positions Bitbank as the leading exchange in Japan in terms of the diversity of assets offered.
ApeCoin serves the Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) community, a widely celebrated NFT collection, functioning both as a governance token within the ApeCoin DAO and as a medium for transactions, granting access to games, events, and services within its ecosystem.
GALA, the Gala ecosystem’s utility token, is at the heart of building the largest decentralized gaming platform globally. It facilitates the trading of digital assets and the acquisition of in-game items within Gala Games, while ownership of GALA tokens rewards players with in-game advantages and rewards.
Chiliz focuses on enhancing the connection between sports clubs and their supporters through cryptocurrency, allowing for fan voting, merchandise purchases, and engagement with sports and entertainment entities on the Chiliz platform.
Furthermore, Bitbank has announced plans to integrate Oasis (OAS), a blockchain tailored to gaming, expanding its commitment to supporting innovative and community-focused projects within the digital asset space.
